Sarah Hurm

Sarah grew up in a smaller town in Iowa. She is one of five girls. She grew up in a churched family that attended mass weekly and went to a catholic school. Sarah remembers holding the fetal model of unborn babies in seventh grade and thinking she would never be in a situation where abortion would even be a thought. Her senior year of high school Sarah started to experiment with living outside of the path she was shown growing up. Drinking, smoking, abusive relationships and a life of promiscuity lead her to facing her fourth unplanned pregnancy.

It was through her journey of starting a chemical abortion and reversing it that she truly opened her eyes, found the road to redemption and began to understand the immeasurable worth of each person. In the middle of 2020, she was asked for the first time to do a video interview to tell the story of her abortion pill reversal. After the interview, she realized that she ought to keep speaking out about her experience, because it isn’t just her story. It is a story that God has woven together, and one that can help so many other women and their children. Her desire to share this story is to help others in the pro-life world better understand why a woman in a vulnerable situation might choose to begin the abortion process, and it can speak to those who support abortion as to the ways women are exploited by pressure, the devastating weight abortion can have on the woman, and the desperate desire that takes root to save her child's life from abortion. She now owns her own massage business and is a solo parent to four children.

Sarah has shared her story with various publications/podcasts over the years, recorded her story for LiveAction on YouTube, and spoken at various fundraisers and pro-life events.
